De Rerum Invisibilia

Is a sonic and visual composition, where the dichotomic relationship that we wave with nature, is undisclosed as the urgency of preserving the symbiosis between pollinators and plants.

The soundscape you are experiencing is a collection of field recordings of European landscapes and ecosystems that have been lost in the last 10 years due to climate change.

The tableaux vivants (M. S. Merian 1647-1717), show how pollinators see flowers. The invisible spectrum that escapes our perception and is the fundamental bond of ecosystem’s biodiversity.

De Rerum Invisibilia is an amplification of the symbiotic bond that binds us to ecosystems, invisible but inextricable to our survival. In the global drop of biodiversity, we see and hear the landscapes we inhabit slowly disappearing under our eyes while plants and insects fluctuate together becoming digital ghosts.
